Description

Delicious and nutritious Berry Cherry Almond Overnight Oats, packed with fresh cherries, blueberries, strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and crunchy almonds. Easy to prepare and perfect for a quick, healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup sweet cherries, pitted and halved (about 15 cherries)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, halved and sliced

Oats Mixture

  • 1 cup rolled oats (old-fashioned oats)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (ceylon)
  • 1 pinch coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Fruit: Wash and dry the fresh fruit thoroughly. Pit the cherries and remove the stems from the strawberries. Slice the cherries into halves or quarters, and slice or dice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Combine the prepared cherries, strawberries, and blueberries in jars or containers.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the oats, milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, slivered almonds, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of coarse sea salt to the jars containing the fruit. Stir well or shake the jar to mix all ingredients evenly. Seal the jars tightly with lids.
  3. Refrigerate: Place the sealed jars in the refrigerator for at least 3 to 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the oats and flavors to soak and meld together.
  4. Serve: In the morning, remove the lid and stir the oats mixture. Enjoy as is, or top with additional fresh fruit, extra yogurt, or more slivered almonds for added texture and flavor.
