Description

Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars are a delicious layered dessert featuring a crispy graham cracker base, gooey marshmallows, rich caramel, crunchy Butterfinger bites, and a chocolate drizzle. Perfectly sweet and crunchy, these bars are a no-bake treat that comes together quickly and is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Layer

  • 6 ½ sheets of graham crackers

Filling

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 (11 oz) bag of caramel bits (or unwrapped caramels)
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 (10 oz) bag of coarsely chopped Butterfinger bites

Topping

  • 2 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray it generously with cooking spray to ensure easy removal of the bars later.
  2. Build the layers: Arrange the graham crackers evenly on the bottom of the prepared pan to form the base. Spread the mini marshmallows evenly over the graham crackers.
  3. Melt caramel: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel bits and milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. Pour the melted caramel over the marshmallows, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Add Butterfinger bites: Sprinkle the coarsely chopped Butterfinger bites evenly on top of the caramel layer, pressing gently to set them in place.
  5. Chocolate drizzle: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring each time until silky smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Butterfinger layer in a decorative pattern.
  6. Chill and set: Refrigerate the pan for at least 1 hour or until the bars are fully set and firm enough to cut.
  7. Slice and serve: Once set, lift the bars out using the foil edges and slice into 12 servings. Serve chilled or at room temperature for a delightful dessert.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, warm the knife slightly before slicing the bars.
  • Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • To make caramel melting smoother, add a little extra milk if necessary, one teaspoon at a time.
  • You can substitute Butterfinger bites with any crunchy candy bars if preferred.
