Description

Delight in these rich and flavorful Cappuccino Chocolate Cookies, blending the aromatic essence of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc with decadent dark chocolate. Perfectly soft with a slight crisp edge, these cookies offer a harmonious balance of coffee and chocolate, ideal for your next coffee break or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Coffee Mixture

  • 4 sticks of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc
  • 2 tablespoons warm water

Chocolate

  • 200 g NESTLÉ DESSERT Dark Chocolate (150 g melted, 50 g chopped into chips)

Dough

  • 150 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 300 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
  2. Prepare Coffee Mixture: Dissolve the 4 NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc sticks in 2 tablespoons of warm water, stirring until fully dissolved. Set this flavorful coffee mixture aside.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Place 150 g of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat at 500W for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir thoroughly until smooth and glossy. Reserve the remaining 50 g of dark chocolate for creating chocolate chips by chopping it into small pieces.
  4. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar together using an electric mixer or whisk until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until well incorporated. Pour in the dissolved cappuccino mixture and melted chocolate, stirring until combined smoothly.
  5. Add Dry Ingredients: Sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder together to remove lumps. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until a soft dough forms. Fold in the reserved chopped dark chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  6. Shape Cookies: Roll the dough into small, evenly sized balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing each about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Gently flatten each ball with your hand to form cookie shapes.
  7. Bake: Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes, depending on the size of your cookies, until the edges are set and lightly golden but the centers remain soft.
  8. Cool: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on it for a few minutes. Then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely, which helps retain their texture and prevents sogginess.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase the number of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc sticks to 5.
  • If you prefer chunkier chocolate bites, roughly chop the reserved dark chocolate instead of finely chopping.
  • Storage: Keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • To freeze, place baked cookies in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
  • Ensure not to overbake to maintain a soft and chewy texture.
