Scale
Main Ingredients
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming the glass)
- Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming the glass)
- Red Apple Slices (thinly sliced, for garnish)
- Cinnamon Sticks (1 stick per glass)
- Whole Star Anise (2-3 pieces per glass)
Instructions
- Prepare the glass rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate and dip the rim of your serving glass into it to moisten the edge.
- Coat the rim with cinnamon sugar: On a separate clean plate, spread cinnamon sugar, then gently coat the wet glass rim with it, ensuring an even sugar layer.
- Add Fireball whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball cinnamon whiskey into the glass carefully so as not to disturb the sugared rim.
- Pour hot apple cider: Next, add 5 ounces of hot apple cider to the glass; the mixture will blend on its own, infusing the flavors.
- Prepare apple garnish: Stack three thinly sliced red apple pieces on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Rest the pick on the front side edge of the glass, slightly to one side.
- Add cinnamon stick and star anise: Place a cinnamon stick inside the glass on the opposite side of the apple fan, and add a couple of whole star anise pieces. Serve immediately and enjoy your warming Fireball Apple Cider.
Notes
- Use freshly heated apple cider for the best warm flavor experience.
- Garnishes are optional but add an attractive and aromatic touch to the drink.
- Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to your preferred strength.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the Fireball and add extra apple cider with cinnamon syrup.
- Be cautious pouring warm liquids to avoid burns.
