- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Egg Mixture
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish (Optional)
- Chopped chives or parsley
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan to prevent sticking.
- Combine Hash Browns, Sausage, and Cheese: In a large bowl, mix the thawed and dried shredded hash browns, cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese together until evenly distributed.
- Make Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
- Mix Egg Mixture with Hash Brown Mixture: Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown, sausage, and cheese mixture. Stir everything together until fully combined and the egg mixture evenly coats all ingredients.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Spoon the combined mixture evenly into the prepared mini muffin cups, pressing gently down to pack the mixture firmly and evenly.
- Bake: Place the muffin pan into the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the bites are fully set.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and let the bites cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Carefully remove each bite from the muffin tin. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
